Thysanocarpus curvipes

A brassicid that can be very abundant on relatively moist rocky slopes in southern Arizona and adjacent New Mexico. This genus and Athysanus are the only brassicids with single-seeded fruits.

Plant habit in King Canyon, in the Tucson Mts., 2/4/05. This plant was in the shade, plants in the sun generally have much smaller leaves and many more flowers.
