Pellaea intermedia Mett. ex Kuhn

Like Pellaea atropurpurea, this fern typically occurs limestone but can also be found on igneous substrates. This species can sometimes be confused with the diploid form of Pellaea ovata, but the latter has rachises that are glabrous between the pinnae.
