Humulus lupulus L. var. neomexicanus A.Nels. & Cockerell

An herbaceous vine with palmatifid leaves & minute grasping hairs on the petioles found in moist habitats. The species is found throughout most of the United States, while the variety is widespread west of the 100th meridian.
