Coryphantha sneedii (Britton & Rose) A.Berger

A fairly common cactus on exposed limestone and, less frequently, rhyolite along the southern edge of New Mexico and in adjacent western Texas. The species has previously been split up into a several indistinct species, but I won't bother with these as they are obnoxious & not recognized in the Flora of North America.
