Calliandra humilis Benth. var. humilis

A low-growing, herbaceous Calliandra found in the U.S. throughout much of Arizona, in southwestern New Mexico, and western Texas. Variety humilis differs from var. reticulata in having bipinnately rather than pinnately compound leaves.
